'tis the season for families to gather,
"round the fire and Christmas tree,
but it seems there is someone still missing,
oh, Mother! where can you be?!

In 3 days, Santa is going to be here,
with presents and goodies galore,
and from the Bible, there's the Christmas story,
about the birth of Jesus our savior, Christ the Lord!

You need to buy a faster clock, Patrick told me,
because it's taking you too long to get here.
Can you fly on a plane that won't crash, Mom?
Or do the planes even fly to here?

Can you drive through the snow in the mountains?
Or will your tires get frozen to the road?
Can you ride in the sleigh with Santa?
No,...He's already got a full load!

You better hurry to Grandma's, says Marty,
better get here so we can all celebrate!
Hurry up Mom!  Your presents and kids are waiting.
Better hurry Mom, or you're going to be late!
